❝ But I will say to you: Blue is for cruel bargains; green is for daring what you oughtn’t; violet is for brute force. I will say to you: Coral coaxes; pink insists; red compels. I will say to you: You are dear to me as attar of roses. Please do not get eaten. ❞

Alicia Florrick - Red | Requested by nancebotwin

“You know I’d studied art history in college, the Donmar was my dream theater, and I went back and read the play [Red], that evening I call my agents, just to let them know, I’m doing a play at the Donmar, a play that none of you have read. But it’s that wonderful thing, when all your interests fall into place and meet a project. It seemed so perfect I suppose I was a bit of a pessimist. As the thing got closer I thought, well the reharsals are gonna be a nightmare. Or Alfred and I aren’t going to get along. But each step of the way, it was lovely.”
